I won’t use your private information for any nefarious purpose.
If you are interested in being considered for the position of My Soulmate, I’ll use whatever information you send me to carry out a private correspondence with you to see if we may have enough in common to take the next step (talking on the phone, meeting in person, falling madly in love, etc.) If it turns out we don’t, I probably won’t contact you again (unless we become friends). Fair enough?
The only exception to this rule is hate mail. If you’re rude enough to send me a nastygram, I reserve the right to post your nastygram verbatim on my website, along with any personally identifying information I may be able to glean from your communications with me.
When you fill out online forms on my site, your information will be submitted to me via email, which is not considered to be secure in transit. Your form submission will be stored on my laptop, which is kept in a secure undisclosed location. It’s password protected, too.
